I am a PACFA Clinical registrant, mental health practitioner and a registered supervisor and AAOS member. I am based in Cairns, FNQ and offer both face-to-face as well as online, via Zoom, opportunities to meet. My substantive passion is school counselling, so I have lots of experience in educational settings working with young people and those who work with young people. I am active in helping newly qualified counsellors in their internship at the end of coursework and establishing themselves in the profession. I offer either clinical or pastoral supervision working face-to-face or online via Zoom, respecting the boundaries of each focus. My skills and experience match a number of the helping professions and ministries. I work in several modalities: Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Person-centred counselling, Christian Counselling, Psycho-education and Solution-focused Therapy.

Dirk has offered pastoral ministry over the past 25 years in a variety of contexts, including congregation, school, university, and aged care settings. He consolidated this experience with a Master level qualification in pastoral counselling and a Graduate Certificate in Professional Supervision. He is a recognised pastoral supervisor and offers supervision to a range of people working within these contexts. Dirk listens to clients and supervisees with empathy, compassion and understanding. He holds this space with integrity and confidentiality thus creating a space for self-reflection, enquiry and growth. Dirk is a member of the Australasian Association of Supervisors, Australian Counselling Association, and New South Wales College of Clinical Pastoral Education. I offer supervision to people involved in Christian ministry, especially clergy. I have 33 years experience in ordained ministry in Australia and overseas. I am passionate about developing younger people in ministry, and encouraging healthy ministerial practice.

Helen is a pastoral supervisor trained within the CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) model of reflective practice and supervision. She is an accredited Supervisor and Educator through ACPEWA, ANZACPE and AAOS and holds post-graduate qualifications in education and theology. She is passionate about supporting people as they reflect on their practice of care to others in Christian, multi-faith and secular contexts. Supervision is available in person as well as via online mediums (Skype etc). She also offers small group experiences (see website for current offerings).
